Organized by Temasek Junior College (TJC) Outdoor Activities Club (OAC), the OAC Duathlon Challenge is an annual event, first held in 2006,
that takes place in the February-April period. This year, we will be organising the OAC Duathlon Challenge 2010 again due to increasing interest in our event.
Participants compete in pairs to achieve the ultimate aim of finishing the race in the shortest possible combined time.
One member runs a collective distance of 10km while the other cycles a distance of 20km (i.e. 20+10);
the combined timing is used for ranking and the top 5 teams of each category walk away prizes and medals.
For more details visit the Race Details page.
Our club aims to nurture leaders that possess life skills and values which we feel are important to us and definitely beneficial.
Therefore we would like to share such experiential learning with other students and in addition, provide a platform for sportsmen
to challenge themselves and compete against other sporting enthusiast.
Through this event, we wish to promote endurance, willpower, determination and teamwork amongst all participants.
Besides that, we also hope to increase the awareness about this annual event organized by TJC OAC.
Finally, we hope to entice those interested to discover and/or showcase their abilities in this relatively new aspect of sports.
